Last I did any reading most guys are/were not too happy with KB's choices on the piston.
It went from a promised 9:2-1 casting to a 9:6-1 forging real quick.
The prices at release placed it right up there with simply ordering a forging and getting exactly what you want.

IIRC, the numbers that KB put up on the web did not actually support the suggested 9:6-1 of the larger dish piston. Something about they misquoted cylinder head combustion chamber volume? Again, just going from memory of last fall when they were initially released. 
 
I bought a set of cast Coated skirt pistons to have on hand for a standard bore stroker after they released the 944 and we realized it was not what we had hoped for :(

Hey guys,
Just was looking at their catalog.  They now have 2 different CC dish designs for the 4.6L stroker pistons, in their FORGED and PREMIUM FORGED catalog.  These could possibly be used on a HiPo 304 build, also.
