Have some lowering plates constructed or make some yourself. They mount between the spindle and knuckle. 3/8" steel flat plate will work. Note, the plates will widen your front track 3/8" perside so if tire clearance is an issue they won't work. The plates on mine lower the car 1 5/8". They have been in place some 6-8 years with no issues. Somewhere on one or both of the AMCforums there are specs to make plates like mine.
