I'm reasonably sure they mean a fan clutch. AMC didn't use it in 62, but may have used it later, or it could be a Kaiser Jeep thing (AMC didn't own Jeep when Jeep used the 327 V-8 in Wagoneers). I'm with Tom -- they collapsed the part book numbers and show the pumps as fitting all AMC 327s, which they do. But you need the right one! So just order "w/o auto fan" and you should be fine.
