tom, looking at your pics of the "mock-up", i wonder if it would be better to have the intake side of the turbo point forward?? get cooler, cleaner air into the carb that way? heck, run a piece of ducting from the rad. support to the carb with an air box of some sort for the filter, for ram air effect, then you shouldnt have any kind of problem with the air heating up. and should also make for easier exhaust routing also, as it wont have to go next to the steering box. just strait down, bend and go out??
