Thanks on the trans info.
I suspect I will probably jsut follow my "known evil" methodology and try for a T5.
Need to figure out for sure if I can get a GM variant Bellhousing or if I need to find the specific Jeep bell which I am sure will be harder to find!

I'm still mostly noodling on this.
I have to wait to see if I an going to have more medical stuff done this spring before I start any real work.

I also need to get that Convertible out of here.
