Now, you gone and done it! I'm seeing the fastest case of RM in history here! When Your done with it, let me know, I'll give you $100 less than what you have in it :) Seriously, keep it simple, keep it clean, make sure the paint shines and it runs like stink! You will make money on it! Don't forget a good harsh shift kit in that trans! It's an absolute must! You want it to rip the tires when shifting! The gearheads love that Shite !!! A buddy of mine built a similar Fairlane 500 years ago. 390 automatic, ran like stink, but he saved a few bucs with no shift kit. The soft lazy shift into second turned off a couple buyers! It was kind of sad to watch actually! Tires burning, then waaaaaaahhhhhh into second gear, nah, don't go there! OH by the way, WTF do you find these deals??? if you're junkyard building and you trash the rear axle, an 8.8" from a 90-92 Ranger will fit. It's the correct width and bolt pattern, drums are bigger than stock AMC15s too! The only mods are driveshaft and moving the spring plates. If you got pick a parts you should be able to score one at a decent price. Ratios. 3:08, 3:27, 3:55, 3:73 and 4:11! 2 or 4wd is the same width too! I need a 3:55 if you find an extra :-) -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrac II " I realize that death is inevitable.
