All the six cylinder cooling fans will interchange, at least all 199/232/258 fans. Just don't get the fan from a car (or Jeep) with a serpentine belt. Serpentine belt fans (and water pumps) run backwards from V-belt fans. The seven bladed fan will work -- it was used for AC equipped vehicles. Non-AC cars/Jeeps used a four bladed and sometimes a five bladed fan. The seven bladed fan might be too much if you're in an area that gets really cold, but I assume it also has a fan clutch. That would be fine in cold weather. If it does, go ahead and replace the clutch when installing. They wear out, ya, know! ---------------- Date: Mon, 19 Jan 2009 17:02:27 EST From: Nolanatcamelot@xxxxxxx hi all, i'm working on a 68 javelin with a 232 6 cyl .i need a motor cooling fan, if any one has a extra fan ,that i can buy. email me back i live in northern ca thanks chad Chad I have a 7 blade fan that I took off of a 76 Pacer 258 (and shroud).
