I'm going with the further inward off set Caravan wheels with an XJ axle in my Spirit. The XJ axle I have will bolt right in IF I wanted the car up like an Eagle. You won't regret it, and it will have more power than the 304. If you can find a 2WD Jeep with AW4 you'd really have a great combo, only you'd need lower gears. The Jeep axle will fit but it's wide -- you'd need to run the Jeep or Eagle deep set wheels on the rear. If you find one with a five speed the gears in the Concord wouldn't be too bad, but you wouldn't use fifth much. 5 speed 4.0Ls came with 3.08 gears, but from experience 3.23-3.31 would be better. The AW4 needs 3.55 (stock Jeep) or 3.73 gears to be effective in OD. In a lighter, slightly more aerodynamic vehicle like the Concord you could probably get by with 3.31 gears with the AW4, but no higher! _________________________________________________________________ Send e-mail faster without improving your typing skills. http://windowslive.com/online/hotmail?ocid=TXT_TAGLM_WL_hotmail_acq_speed_122008 _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
