If it's the AMC 360, it's an AMC bell housing pattern. AMC had their completely own engine, there's nothing in common with Chevy's motors. All of them (GM, Ford, Chyr, AMC, Stude, etc) often used outside suppliers accessory designs (Delco Remy, etc) but thats it. No relation at all.
