Eh, you yanquis probably don't see the significance of it as see it every year and some places piles of the stuff. Here it is a real treat. It snowed on and off today and tonight a really good dusting. Will make for a great rush hor tomorrow in Houston when those folks who moved here from up north try to drive in it again or those from south american countries and middle east and asia who may/may not be here legally or may/probably don't have insurance much less license (eh, ok, you can still get them at flea market for $10) and have never seen snow or ice on ground attempt to drive on slick icy streets should be quite a treat to see that. I took the kids outside and we made a snowman, granted it had already premixed arms, legs, nose and eyes in it. No, not like yanquis use stuff like coal, carrots, top hat, our snowman had nice Christmas array of cigarette butts, cat poop, leaves and hurricane Ike debris mixed in already so sort of like Chernobyl snowman I guess but kids loved it. I got to drive in the snow falling tonight in my 81 Eagle and didn't have to use wipers, and sort of got transfixed by the snow coming towards me over hood and in lights that is quite cool. None of it stuck to ground however, but neat effect. When got home I took the kids outside and made them put shoes on. I had shoes on also. And took some photos as the snow fell, sadly it will be about 80 degrees this Saturday again!
