Or, how the UPS facility ate my neat toys...
Semi off topic cause it is for my Stroker and other assortec AMC Jeeps stuff.
I emailed OOPS about the lack of any new info on my Piston pin jig and misc tools.
No reply, I called, Got some neat info. They don't know where it is. As reciever I can file a traking trace, however if it is not found the trace will be "closed" and the process will stop.
   If the shipper asks for the trace and the package is not found the process will automatically proceed to a refund.
I emailed the sender yesterday and got no reply at all. I emailed again today and asked for a reply. His reply is that he is out of town and he will ask for the trace "later". Now just for fun I'll mention that earlier he gave me an eddress that goes directly to his cell phone so he would get it "right away". So, he chooses to ignore the whole issue unless I beg for a reply. I forget his seller I.D. but will say if anyone is looking at any renault/amc tools and he is in Wisconisn area maybe we should post his I.d.
    This guy was way nice to deal with, very quick to refund when he thought I had paid too  much for the shipper, way faster to ask me to pay when UPS billed and fined him for packing 169 lbs in a box with 118 lb label on it! Now he seems to be in no particular hurry to help me get the package and avoid negative feedback!  I really do not like the whole idea of leaving him negative feedback but it may be only the second time since 1999 when I feel it is needed.
   All I want him to do is spend about 5 minutes on the phone asking for a package trace. 
I did get to talk to the people at the South Charleston, WV ups facility that has lost the package, very nice woman who even put me on hold to take a look around for it! Unfortuneatly she did not see it! How the package could be scanned in and then found and need forwarded to the Fairmont facility only to disapear is anyones guess.
   I'm for sure back on my not shipping with UPS again kick! I did one a few years back but had gradualy relaxed it over time. Silly me! I guess it is hard to avoid as some people don't have access to other shippers or have yet to get burnt by the oopsies.

  I guess I can only hope it is found and I get it, or the guy refunds my money without a struggle if it is not!
