[Amc-list] Hudson Hornet Twin H 308 to AMC 4.0 - lineage ?

just finished watching the animation movie 'CARS' -
with 'Doc Hudson' - the iridescent Blue '51 Coupe.

nice movie.

so,.. Nash merged with Hudson forming Rambler then AMC,
so, ..that makes the Fuel Injected 242cu.in.   4.0 a decedent of the
Hudson Twin H 308cu.in.  inline race engine - right ?
