Re: [Amc-list] Veterans Day

You're welcome (USAF, 1983-2007)

And I'd like to pass on my thanks to those who came before me who did a lot more than I during my time in service. It's a true team effort I know, the cook can be the most important man in camp when you've been eating field rations for several days! Been there! I've been under fire and even had the "opportunity" to fire back on a couple occasions, but wasn't a front line troop. Those guys have it rough, and give a lot more.

I hope everyone can take a few minutes today to think about and thank our veterans! Without them we would not have the freedoms that we enjoy. My Dad was a WWII Veteran. He was on Omaha Beach on D-Day in Normandy France. I lost him May 17th of this year. This will be a very hard Veterans Day for me. And yes i have my US Flag out today. Thanks for a minute of your time,Joe
