This is be best reference I could find today which mentions wheel width and tire size. The 5.5 on your wheels indicates that they are 5 1/2 inches wide. For your information I think that Javelins and AMXs used the six-inch rally wheels in 1970. I don't know if there was a plain steel six inch wide wheel available through the AMC system then, but someone will have the answer if they have the 1970 salesmans data book. I have one for 1969 but not 1970. Anyway, here's the reference that might help: http://customwheelsmarket.com/rimwheelwidth1.html Good luck, Joe Fulton --- On Tue, 11/11/08, JohnBherna@xxxxxxx <JohnBherna@xxxxxxx> wrote: > From: JohnBherna@xxxxxxx <JohnBherna@xxxxxxx> > Subject: [Amc-list] 1967 770 Rebel Wagon Tire Size? > To: amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Date: Tuesday, November 11, 2008, 11:22 AM > Can anyone tell me what is the largest size tire I can use > on my wagon?
