I see no one responded to this, so I'll poke it with a stick and see if it wiggles away or sumpin.

Can't the shop compare the bolts? If your building in a 258 block, do you have the rods? you can just compare.
IIRC they are the same.

I could compare but the only 4.0L rods I have are living in a shortblock still.
I have 258 rods out, but don't really want to disturb the bolts as they are in perfect condition and do not need resized.

Why build on a 258 Block?
Bigger is better :]  use the 4.0L block, you have the 258 crank, at standard bore your at 275 Cu.In.
