Just confirmed the forging # with the machinist … 3214725 … which checks out as a 71 401 crank at:

Either Kennedy screwed up, or AMC put the wrong crank in the box, LOL!

not offhand, but i could swear tom benvie posted an extensive list of
crank castings to the list some years ago.
