" Saw a '66 Eagle on Craigslist in Tennessee. It got away from me. Saw
" it on E-Bay and bought it. I have to wander up and get it - but it
" should be pretty cool. It weighs around 400 pounds and requires a 1
" 7/8" hitch. I already have a hitch on my '03 Corolla, and it did just
" fine hauling a 400 pound plywood sailboat around - so we should be
" good to go!
don't forget its frontal area! probably a good bit more than the
boat... when my gf got a cherokee i was interested to see that the
towing restrictions were in addition to 5000lbs and 25', 49sf frontal
area. [a 5000lb 25' 49sf box is a pretty big trailer for a cherokee!]
you won't see any difference at low speeds but it could be more of a
strain on the corolla at high speeds.

i agree. it's got more beef, if not more oats, than the toy.
