I took a look at the e-bay ad. It definitely looks like it would fit. The crossmember appears to be narrow enough anyway. You would also have to cut into the spring towers to weld the MII spring "hats" in. No going back, but that shouldn't be a big problem if you want an MII front suspension. Anyone wanting this would probably want to cut the towers and humps out for a V-8 anyway. Looks like it was made for the 50-54 Nash Rambler and 58-63 Rambler American. If so it won't fit a 64, and also won't fit the big cars. I e-mailed the company and asked for a photo or two of the crossmember installed in a Rambler, and pointed out that the 64 was different. Hope to hear from them in a few days! ------------- Date: Tue, 4 Nov 2008 21:35:16 -0800 (PST) From: d stohler <das24rules@xxxxxxxxx> and i forgot to put in the item # for that ifs in the last post. my bad ;-) item#: 140278422122 -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Motors Cars" Magazine (AMC) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AMC.html (free download available!) _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
