was under casper (62 classic custom 2 door) a week or so and noticed it is rusting out underneath. where the front subframe ties into the floor pans is gettin pretty rough. most likely from the oklahoma humidity/winter salt on the roads. didnt drive it much in the winter, but if it even THREATENS to freeze, they were salting the roads. what a bunch of panzies. hopefully this winter i can get casper into the body shop (my garage) this winter and get the body cancer and that underbody rust fixed. by the way, speaking of subframes, would it benifit any for me to make some for that body car? as mark (i think it was) said, he can jack up any corner and doors still shut fine, mine is the same way, so no worries there. but there is a 304/t5 in the works for it. not a lot of torque, but i dont want to be poppin windshields, or misaligning doors either. not for hotrodding, just for some streetable "fun". dave stohler my rambler pics@ http://picasaweb.google.com/das24rules _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
