Got the grooves done in the heads that will be on my 330" stroker. Put them in today with a couple of hand files. Started with a triangular and then finished up with a small round file (less than 1/8" diameter). Then chamfered/rounded of the sharp corners where they transition into the combustion chambers. The groove on an AMC head is a lot less pronouced than on some other OEM heads, since the chamber floor is at such a minute angle to the deck surface in the quench area.
