First I ever heard of this? Are these 4.0 pistons, is this some early-AMC vs.late-Chrysler marketing crap? > It's on the bench, I need to stick the tailhousing on it and measure > it. I will do so shortley. I saw at one time a web page that listed > all th eshifter placements, all Of them! I found a lot of trans dimensions, but oddly, the one that would be a 'deal killer' (shifter under the dash? in the middle of the seat?) is never listed! Yeah, I occasionally look at ePay but was puzzled why the non-needle-bearing trannies go for the same as the WC? I am in SoCal, I'll likely find one locally anyways. > Orthopedic doc will decide if I've magiacally gotten better POOF, yer > healed!!! We have a TiVo (new in 1999!), a receiver for sound, and a Squeezebox for audio (check it out, great device!) and a 27" tube TV (old). WHen it all craps out I wanna go with a MythTV box -- one tiny little miniITX computer that does it all! I'm tired of the boxes and remotes and IR blasters and crap. > Anyone want a whole pile of 327 and 287 > stuff? I can then put the stroker in the Convertible... :] I go back and forth on s**t like this -- part of my wants to play with all the interesting stuff (a small slick "stock" v8 that'll rev higher than stock), the old 195.6, the "new" six, EFI, etc but the weary (and slightly more practical) me would like to stick to one "platform" -- like the AMC six -- and stick to that. Hell I have three of them running now. There's a lot of room to play in that six still! THe 327/287 is a cool motor but yeah, it's a pile of iron! And it's getting expensive to play with and choices are limited. That never stops us, but I'd probably be better off with fewer projects. _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
