Re: [Amc-list] my weekend, was, custom interior work coming along...

Somehow, I think you have solved a major national problem.
I do not believe you could possibly ever fall asleep while driving that car! :]

Can't wait to see the finished product and the drilled drums and how they hold up!
I had one of those weekends where you feel like you need to get some stuff done, yet everything you try does not work out quite the way you want. Several different projects did not go quite the way I wanted .

I did suceed in making a purchase on a cable line splitter I have been needing to complete my newtorking project. So as soon as it comes in I should be able to get the switch set where it belongs and things cleaned up.
Right now we have cables draped and tied here and there to make it all work. My kid bought a new Quad core desktop with 64bit Vista and of course the wirelss stuff I allready have won't run on it! I'm not about to buy more wireless stuff right now when I got all the cable and switches laying around.

I did what I thought was the final finshed assemblyof the shrinker stretcher last night too. Thought it was final anyway, found out the 5/8" bar stock I had for levers is not strong enough, It BENDS! Arg! I'm going to try and shorten them 2" each and retest for action and strength. If they bend again I'll try some Grade 8 5/8" inch bolts.

The boat isin storage for the winter YAY! Gone, Double YAY! I hate boats...though this one is pretty cool with it's SBC and 260hp.

I finally was able to drop the rear tire pressure on the Grand Cherokee so it does not ride like truck anymore!

Still waiting on the starter parts for the XJ as I had to order brushes, no one in town stocks starter parts anymore.

I came in to work at 5:30 am this morning so I'll be out of here by 1:30 today, More YAY! I think I'll need a nap maybe,
