It's tough to get them without breaking them. My middle son Bill does them and seems to average only 1/2 the time with those in the junkyard. He bought a tool that has an L shaped blade on a handle and a cable that allows you to pull it along with both hands for control. I have a 91 dodge grand caravan that I am parting out. I have been looking through the Haynes manual to see how to take apart stuff that does not have an obviously easy deconstruction method. I have never had the opportunity to remove the windshield from a vehicle this new and want to remove it in one uncracked piece. I looked in the Haynes manual for removal instructions and it basically says "Have a professional do it". So, my question is. Other than having a professional do it, how do you remove the windshield from a 91 Dodge Grand Caravan without breaking or cracking it? Thanks in advance.
