I picked up another Hornet today. This one was close to being parted out. I traded a 79 Spirit GT for it. The Spirit needed body work and paint, and became more of a project than I wanted. This Hornet is a 76 model with 57,000 miles. Deluxe type interior with pillowy type upholstery I haven't seen before. Same stuff on the door panels and it appears to be factory. Interior is very clean and complete. Tan (what else?) with beige interior. PS/PB 258 six. No A/C. The bad: The engine overheated several years ago and it has sat idle since about 2002. It should be fun project and one that I can work on after work in the evening. Engine building is fun and doable after work. Body work and painting is difficult for me because I have a small garage. The 196 engine is progressing and should go into the 65 Rambler next weekend.
