You have me baffled. If you pulled the left side the adjuster should have an L on it. Not sure what brake system the 64 Typhoons got. Wagner or Bendix? Makes a difference in what you will see. did you compare it to the other side? Mattsoldcars has a some brake stuff up that may help you out.
