The factory specified an AMC part numbered lube.

I currently run Redline MTL.

Read some more.
Non World class T5's take or took gear lube.
Hanlon and some of the other websites cover this.
Heck maybe AMC was so special they were built different from the 83-84 Ford tranny?

I don't realy have the want to go dig around looking for facts on it.

What you run in your trans is your choice too.
