Well, the first place you probably have a junction is on the switch itself. In my 69 American the wire feeding the coil and voltage regulator where joined and on the same connector. The wire running out to the regulator was yellow. I'd say you could check those connections first. Also in my 69 at about the halfway point the feed to the coil plus side is spliced to a resisitance wire. All of those splices and junctions could be possible places for problems to occur. I think Matt Haas has some wiring diagrams up online and believe the swedish guy [kiwi?] used to, though I admit I'm not up on that one.
