Larry, you can use the booster, but not the master cylinder. The manual master should bolt up to the booster though. Disc brake boosters usually supply a little more power assist than drum boosters, so the brakes may be very touchy! I see that Andrew already pointed out why you can't use the disc master cylinder. -------------- Date: Sat, 23 Aug 2008 19:51:47 -0500 From: Larry Goltry <lgoltry@xxxxxxxxxxx> My 69 Rambler has manual drum brakes. I'm wondering. What would happen if I put on a power brake booster and master cylinder from 68 Javelin that had front disc brakes? -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Motors Cars" Magazine (AMC) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AMC.html (free download available!) _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
