tom jennings--- TO be honest, I just don't know how much better 4-wheel discs are -- I mean literally, does the car overall brake that much better? I've never driven a car with 4 wheel discs. --- my daily driver (03 dodge peon) had disk front, puny little MAYBE 9x1.75 rear drums. i put on the srt4 rear disk brakes. they are all but as big as the front disks. however, my braking is INSANELY better. my fronts used to lock up, and the rear i dont think i ever got them to. strangely. no abs either. the 4 disks is the ONLY way to go in my mind. gives the sports car look, but the no fade, better grab. as light as our ramblers are, i bet those cobra rear brakes would be insane. i would be VERY interested in fitting the cobra rear brakes on my 62 classic. would probably go nice with my '00 gt fronts, and my 17" wheels. once again, the rotors are probably as big as my fronts tho. maybe just find some vented mustang rotors that will fit the rear and i can fit callipers to. i have been toying with the idea. just havent had the time to screw with it lately. to many irons in the fire. mark, can you email me off list all the calipers/brackets and all you got? i have been trying to follow what your doing, but have not been able to keep up very well. been working hay from sundown till sunup. sleeping and working all other times.... dave stohler my rambler pics@ http://picasaweb.google.com/das24rules _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
