That's not from experience with that motor, but I read that many times about early aluminum motors (people treated them like old iron engines), and certainly, electrochemical corrosion would be bad in that motor. > Tom seemed to think the filter on the pump would clear in his car. NOPE! Won't fit! But I am convinced -- short of actually doing it -- that the non-filter pump can be drilled and tapped for a "remote" filter kit and fit in the car.
