That's the aluminum 327 V8 ... Gen I motor, and was made in the early 1960's, around 1964, from what I remember Larry telling me. Definitely a rare AMC engine ... much like the aluminum 304 blocks/heads for the AMC Indy Program ... some of those are still around, too.
