Not knocking cross drilling, but.... It is a looks thing, the difference in drilled and non drilled is non existant on a street car. Even with all the fancy treatments in the world they can and do crack. I have heard and read from people buying anything from lowbuck drilled and slotted to high buck drilled and slotted. High bucks with treatment do better in general, but cracking can still happen. If you want the looks, you gotta pay the price! -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrc II " Chronic Pain Hurts" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: Jesse <j2sax@xxxxxxxxx> > > Stailess Stell Brake Co actually has a pretty cool option for most 70-up AMC's, > though I don't know about the older crowd (don't have any so I didn't look). > > They have a repacement 4 piston, aluminum powder coated caliper that will bolt > right on my 79 AMX.
