Yep. I torqued the head, hoping that would solve the white smoke. Well, the car had sat for a few days or a week - and when I went to start it, white smoke time. Hmmmmmm. I went to check the oil, after having recently changed it - and the level looked a little higher! How'd that happen? And it seemed to have a greenish hue. So - time to double check the slowly rising oil level, the white smoke that goes away when the car is warmed up, and see if my eyes were deceiving me - or if the oil really does have a lovely greenish hue. I like green. Just not in motor oil. Darn. Think I better park it and order up a head gasket. Doesn't that stuff cause problems with bearings? _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
