The 1966 Parts book shows the T-86 with and without overdrive as available with the 232 engine. The T-86 has a flat top cover with six bolts. The T-96 has four bolts in the top cover. It is shown as available with the 199 engine. Originally there was a transmission tag with model number attached to the right side rear extension case bolt. If it is there it should confirm the exact transmission model.
