Hey guys, Sounds like the 4.0L head swap takes some work. Why not just use an existing high-compression 258 head and do the Chevy 1.94/1.50 valve swap? Cost with all chevy parts is reasonable and the performance difference is AMAZING. FWIW, on my stock bore 258, we cut the exhaust down to a 1.45" to be safe on clearance (without mocking anything up). Sincerely, Greg Taylor :) <>< And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Then place aluminum foil or similar on top of the whole mess to seal it up as best I could. Vacuum beside the site and a die grinder to do the bevel. Once beveled, I'd clean out everything with paper towells or another tool carefully. Getting everything out as best I could. Then rotate the piston down the bore further and do a final clean. Take your time and it should work fine. Best to do with the engine out, but hey sometimes you just got to make the best of what you got! -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrc II " Chronic Pain Hurts" -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
