I know the 232 starter works back. At least in the hole. I had one in my mockup engine when I did the 4.0L head investigation. That is what I highly suggest Tom J do to his wagon engine! chamfer the top edgoe of the bore too. He actually gets stuff done pretty quickly. So maybe some actual hands on knowledge added to the data base on 4.0L head swap! With the 232 I'd consider using the smaller port head just cause it is less desirable then the 91-98 heads and would save some money. Plus possible torque boost. Frank, note any torgue changes on the real low rpms? I know you used the small port head on your truck, but going to the clifford open intake may have offset any gain? -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrc II " Chronic Pain Hurts" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: Frank Swygert <farna@xxxxxxx> > I forgot they changed!
