That is a narrow band O2 sensor. It is most useful right around a stoichiometric mixture (14.7:1 for gasoline) because its output is highly non-linear. Wideband O2 sensors require a complex drive circuit; the principle actually measures the current required to keep the test cell in balance, rather than the actual output of the sensor. The Innovate LM-1 is a pretty good unit. The TechEdge <http://www.techedge.com.au/> products out of Australia are based on a do-it-yourself project, but have had considerable development since the original DIY-WBo2 unit. --Glen At 06:32 AM 6/23/2008, Ray Mick wrote: >This web sight has a some good info on fuel air ratio with a wide >band O2 sensor and a volt meter cost ya about 65 dollors. >http://www.telusplanet.net/public/gilesij/Volvord/carb_jet.htm >On Jun 23, 2008, at 1:49 AM, Tom Jennings wrote: > > > OK, I gotta get one.
