Ho hum chevrolet . . . . . . 50% ford . . . . . . . . 25% volkswagen . . . . . 24% other . . . . . . . . 1% ------ 100% OK some mopar. Smattering of interesting non-US cars (non-US-market VWs, 67 Datsun, a Packard with (ta da) 350, a Messerschmidt (yep) -- absolutely, absolutely, zero (0) AMC. No hot rod stuff. Nothing interesting. It's a swap meet, it'll vary from event to event, but the general population of interesting stuff was zero. And this is a HUGE! event. HUGE! 10,000? cars in the visitors parking lot? A thousand or more cars in the for-sale area, mostly muscle cars. Don't get me wrong, there were interestingc ars; "drivable" 27 4-door chevy, $4200. A tiny bit of old stuff like that. But no AMC or Nash 'cept two Metros. A LOT of vw stuff, and a lot fo it really interesting. Prices are good too. German stuff, import stuff, baja stuff of course, new motors from old to 2000cc high power all new. Metal, seats, etc. Great place for VWs! It's unlikely I'll bother again. _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
