Yup, that's about it! You might also unbolt the brake line
bracket (hose to hard line) to give you a few more inches.
The TT is a pain but a straightforward one. Because the
driveshaft is coupled to the wheels, and the wheels are sitting
on the ground for this, it's slightly hard to align the yoke
splines up; you can't turn the driveshaft else the rear end
walks around! SO you have to turn the trans output shaft. Just
leave it in neutral and it shouldn't be a problem at all.
One suggestion: buy a replacement trunnion rubber biscuit,
if they're available. They kinda rot and fall apart. Mine's
original, somehow, its distorted but fine.
