I don't intend to try it out either, when I get to the Ambassador and I decide to de tube it, it will get a nice beefy sumpin or other and a set of truckarms. -- Mark Price Morgantown, WV 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L, EFI, T-5 2004 Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L, Quadratrc II " Chronic Pain Hurts" -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: Tom Jennings <tomj@xxxxxxx> > On Wed, 7 May 2008, Sandwich Maker wrote: > > > that's not a problem, but where do the torque rods attach? the t5 > > isn't made to cope with -that- kind of stress! > > The rear of the transmission locates the torque tube axle > assembly, and takes ALL of the fore and aft force (braking and > accell).
