When I first started driving the American I got annual inspections done to keep the cops from bugging me about driving it in the daytime as I was a stay-at-home dad and liked to drive it whenever wanted to.
   The guy at the shop always had me drive it in on the rack. He'd raise it up walk around underneath, say yep, looks good all the lights work? I'd say yep checked them before I left the house and he'd put the sticker on it and charge me $11.
   Now I don't fool with it as pleasure use antigue and classic cars are exempt from the annual inspection process here.
