The  32/36 DGEV is a good choice for a 258.  You will require an adapter and 
new linkages.  I purchased a K551 kit.  This includes the carb, adapters, 
linkages, and the air cleaner.  

http://www.carburetion.com/Weber/weberjeep.asp has some good information on 
these carbs.  There are a number of different vendors that sell these kits.  

I've never used the Clifford intake with the 390 Holley, but I've been told by 
several people that it's too much carb for this engine.
