I found that the Mobil1 301 replaces the 204 on a number of later engines and run them on my XJ.  I have a thread here:

Perhaps you want to check the thread and seal diameter on the other deeper Mobil1 filters to see if any of them match the 203.  IIRC, I found one that fits my Pontiac 400, but the number escapes me.
