There's a couple of NAPA/Wix filters that fit, but the one with
the big can, and presumably bigger filter area, is NAPA 1258,
WIX 51258. There's a low-profile one I think for later cars
with clearance problems; Pacers? Eagles? It does work though. I
think if you ask NAPA to look it up you get the small can filter.

I run the NAPA 1258 filter on a 1970 232ci and 1983 258ci. I
believe it's the same filter for the V8.

Mobil1 makes an excellent filter, but only in the small profile,
it's M1-203. It's about twice as expensive.
