I appreciate all the help everyone has been giving me about the Mallory cap
I need for my dual point distributor.
This cap is a very interesting critter. It is split about 1/2 or 3/4 inch
below the plug wire towers. It screws together
with a couple of long screws. The plug wires get inserted into the cap and
then they get caged when the bottom half
of the cap is fastened to the top half. The wires can't come loose.
Maybe a 62 Nova cap would work, but it won't have the locked wire feature.
Shouldn't I have
more information about the Nova cap before I ask?? Wouldn't I look sort of
foolish when the parts guy says "What engine?"
Or (I know nothing about belly button Novas) is there only one engine option
for a 62 Nova. would this be the small displacement
six popper Chev used in the early sixties? 235 cubic inch? ?   ?  ? Help??
