The seal rides on the bearing spacer.....I used the seal in the parts list not sure of year or application.....I thought mine went over the edge too.....but it is right at the edge....the surface for the seal could be a little wider to the rear... one of the changes I would like to see made.....since that is a machined part..... I think the guy who said the seal adapter wouldn't work on a 68 or so American spindle either used the wrong seal or rotor, or was sent the wrong adapter. Those are the only reasons I can think of it wouldn't work. He said the rotor seal pushed all the way over the adapter... something definitely not right! Hope to hear from the guy and find out what the real problem/solution was. > > -------------- > Date: Thu, 24 Apr 2008 09:58:55 -0700 (PDT) > From: Tom Jennings <tomj@xxxxxxx> > > _______________________________________________ Amc-list mailing list Amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://splatter.wps.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/amc-list
