If you go to WJjeeps.com there is ain interesting article linked to it that tells the early storyof "Chrylsers" new engine. Good info on the 4.7L. Does not, of course mention that it may have been the last design out of Jeeps design facility before the buy out. Lots of speculation on were it was going to go, before they came out with the Newer, no more a hemi then the 4.7, hemi... The thing weighs like 435 lbs! That would seriously put the nose up in the air on one of our old cars!
