[Amc-list] trans broken in

Just a mild FYI, the synchro on 3rd gear in my T-96 is noq quite
happy, bathed in Mobil1 15W-50 synth oil. It took about 3 days
for it to work properly.

It's hard to picture what was/is going on in there. 2nd and
3rd are on the same slider (their own dogs). I even took good
enough photos that I can see that it was assembled right. ALl I
can figure is that the end play, within spec, made it fussier
about lube (it's based on lube viscosity I guess) and there
was no such oil in 1963.

Fine now though.
