I'm a far cry from my younger days when I used to be able to change SBCs by hand (feet straddling the fender wells, and a chain over the rafter like a chain fall I couldn't afford) Of course that was back shortly after training for the Canadian Olympic weightlifting team. (we didn't go because Russia was in Afghanistan. I wanted SOOOO bad to meet Nadia Comaneci!) My son and I decided that since it was starting to rain, we would load the Nash 327 into my storage truck by hand rather than pull out the engine hoist. Luckily we were stretched and energetic enough to herf it up no probs. In preparation to mounting one of those things, I will do a couple dozen curls with a BW M12, then follow with 287-2v squats. I finish by dead pulling an AMC 20. Now I am ready to mount the steering box. In reality, that box can get mighty heavy if you are holding it up with one hand and trying to start the first bolt. Chase all the threads, bolts and box, use a couple drifts to steady the box, and make sure things are clean and lubed. Then it should be OK....Russ _________________________________________________________________ Use video conversation to talk face-to-face with Windows Live Messenger. http://www.windowslive.com/messenger/connect_your_way.html?ocid=TXT_TAGLM_WL_Refresh_messenger_video_042008 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
