You're right Dave, I mean to say ceramic magnets, not alnico. Alnico is the 
old technology from the past. The new technology is Neodymium magnets.

Alnico have better definition than Ceramic in an
open back enclosure.

Ceramic carry a better mid range punch in a closed cabinet.

Alnico are the preferred in Guitar Amps.
